Brand Levitra is a prescription medicine that is responsible to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence. It does not protect from any sexually transmitted diseases.
How Taken
It is an oral therapy medicine, take Levitra 1 hour before sexual activity. For most patients the recommended starting portion of Levitra is 10 mg per day. The maximum dose of Levitra is 20 mg daily and the minimum is 5 mg. You can take Levitra on an empty stomach, or with food (soft drinks, juice).

Levitra is not recommended for people with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Also do not use Levitra if you use any medicine that contains nitrates (medicine to relieve chest pain), or so called alpha-blockers (to treat prostate problems). Levitra - is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor. It works during sexual activity, by helping to relax muscles and increasing blood flow into the penis. Levitra may be prescribed for other conditions that are not listed over here.
Warning/Precautions
Before taking Levitra discuss your medical conditions, including heart problems, any liver or kidney problems. Men taking any medicine to control chest pain (angina), should not take Levitra, it may lead to unsafe blood pressure changes. Your doctor should know your medical history, and especially the history of last 6 month. Levitra is not created for woman or children, and medical observation or doctor supervision is desirable.
Possible Side Effects
Usually Levitra does not cause side effect. The probable side effects of Levitra are: flushing, stuffy nose, headache, sudden vision loss or vision changes, ringing in the ears (or hearing loss), irregular heartbeat, shortness of the breath, seizures /convulsions/, upset stomach and back pain.
